Even though she is his running mate, John McCain still doesn't know Sarah Palin as well as he knows George W. Bush.

Bush and McCain have worked closely together for at least 8 years implementing reckless policies. Sarah Palin? He talked to her for 20 minutes on the phone before taking a road trip with her.

From the pick of Palin it appears that the only thing that McCain cares about is winning. Palin has no knowledge and experience, but she energizes the base of the Republican party. So for McCain it is political opportunism over country.
