Aha -- we ought to "relax." Sure he's not just talking to himself?

It's a little astonishing, if I weren't past astonishment, that Rumsfeld, even at his imperious, petulant, arrogant best, would frame a genuine, critical, significant policy debate about the right course in Iraq as simple political opportunism. He also said:
"Everyone's trying to make a little mischief out of this, and . . . turn it into a political football."
I mean, really -- does he actually mean that critics of the war and
the reconstruction effort are into "mischief"? That it's just a silly
little trifle, all this angst and hand-wringing about $8 billion, 2,700
million lives, and bushels of ruined American prestige?
I'm so tired of this guy. But you get the feeling he's tired of himself.

I just don't have much to say right now, but I guess it doesn't bother me. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. Nothing notable happening these days. Shrug. Not that it matters. My mind is like a void. I've basically been doing nothing , not that it matters. More or less nothing going on. I guess it doesn't bother me. Not much on my mind.
